OUR DENIM PRODUCTION PROCESS
1. Design & Fabric Selection
We begin the production process by clarifying what you want to achieve. In our initial meeting, we discuss your brand identity, target audience, and product expectations. We present detailed denim fabric options (ranging from 8oz to 14oz weight, with or without stretch, including sustainable alternatives like organic or recycled cotton). We evaluate wash types (raw, enzyme, stonewash, vintage, etc.), hardware (buttons, zippers, rivets), and budget alignment together. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clear understanding of your product’s unit cost, production timeline, and technical expectations.
2. Technical Drawing & Pattern Making
Your design ideas become production-ready at this stage. Our experienced team transforms all details determined in discussions into professional CAD drawings and measurement charts. Graded patterns are prepared for all sizes (XS–XXL or custom sizes) with front, back, and detail views. Stitch types, seam allowances, label placements, pocket shapes, and special treatments (such as distressing or embroidery) are documented in a technical package (tech pack). This eliminates any uncertainty in production; everything is clarified in written and measured form.
3. Sample Production & Approval
Before moving to mass production, we ensure you can hold and evaluate the actual product. Your first sample (prototype) is produced within 10–15 business days using your selected fabric, wash, and specifications, then shipped to you for review. You can assess the fit, fabric hand-feel, wash effect, and overall appearance.
If needed, you may request modifications to measurements, wash intensity, or design details. Each revision takes approximately 7–10 days. Once you provide final approval, the sample becomes the “golden sample” and serves as the sole reference point for bulk production.
For first-time clients, we require a sample production fee. If the approved sample proceeds to a bulk order, the sample fee is deducted from the total order amount.
4. Mass Production & Quality Control
Once the sample is approved, mass production begins. This process typically takes 4–8 weeks depending on order quantity and detail complexity. During production, fabric inspection, computer-aided cutting, expert sewing operators, and quality control at every critical stage (pockets, waistband, zipper, hem, etc.) are conducted. Random inspections are performed every 50–100 pieces to verify measurements, stitching quality, and conformity to the golden sample. You receive weekly production progress photos and updates. This keeps the production process transparent and traceable.
5. Washing & Finishing
After sewing is completed, products undergo your selected washing and finishing treatments. In addition to traditional methods like enzyme, stonewash, and acid wash, eco-friendly laser technology can be applied for precision fading, whiskering effects, or custom patterns. Post-wash, products are heat-set to eliminate future shrinkage risk. Then pressing, steaming, and softener application (if requested) are performed. Each product undergoes post-wash measurement inspection to confirm specification compliance.
6. Packaging & Shipping
Final quality control is conducted on all products; stitching, washing, labeling, and measurement errors are individually inspected. Approved products are labeled and packaged according to your brand requirements: individual polybags, tissue paper wrapping, boxed, or hanging delivery options are available. Shipments are organized by size and color to facilitate your inventory management. For logistics, you can choose from sea freight (30–45 days), air freight (7–10 days), or express courier (3–5 days). All export documents (commercial invoice, certificate of origin, customs declaration, etc.) are prepared by us, and you receive tracking numbers with shipment updates.
